  • PROJECT MANAGER, CARPENTER, FOUNDER

    With a passion for building that ignited at the age of 14 when I joined my uncle in the hardscape landscape industry, my journey led me to the picturesque West Coast of Vancouver. Here, I embarked on a carpentry apprenticeship, contributing my skills to some of the area's most famous properties. In 2019, I founded Rad Builds, where I discovered my true calling in project management, transforming ideas into reality by collaborating with all trades involved. When I'm not crafting extraordinary spaces, I find satisfaction in enhancing my own home, and I cherish moments with my wife and our beloved dogs.

  • CARPENTER

    I’m Dave, a Waterloo native with a business education from Fanshawe. My journey into the world of construction began at 16 when I started working alongside my uncle, focusing on decks and renovations. With a background in property restoration and experience as a carpenter/project manager at Winmar, I’ve honed my skills to transform houses into dream homes. Beyond construction, I find solace in biking, skiing, and golfing. However, my true passion lies in trim work, where I meticulously craft the finishing touches that make a house feel complete. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing all the trades come together to create a fully finished and beautiful home.

  • CARPENTER

    From Guelph, Ontario, to her new home in Stayner, Bailey embarked on an 8-year journey in the trades, starting with the renovation of her first home alongside her carpenter father. A proud graduate of Conestoga's Women in Skills Trade program, Bailey's passion lies in trim carpentry—a craft she believes can truly elevate a space. Beyond her professional achievements, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying fishing, hiking, and beach time. Bailey's dedication, craftsmanship, and love for the outdoors make her an invaluable asset to our team. Her inspiring story breaks barriers and exemplifies the power of pursuing one's passions.

  • CARPENTER

    My name is James Schere. I grew up in Paris, Ontario, where, at 16 years of age, I got my first taste of working in the trades through a local landscape company. In the spring of 2020, I graduated from Conestoga College's Architectural Construction Engineering Technologist Program. In the fall of 2020, I began working as a carpenter apprentice for RAD Builds and have been here ever since! My favorite aspect of building a home is the framing stage. It is rewarding to see such drastic changes as the project comes together! Growing up in a ski family, being on the slopes during the winter has always been a passion of mine, which I carry on to this day by coaching a freestyle ski team on weekends in the winter. If there isn't any snow on the ground, you can find me fishing the local rivers or winding down with some video games with my friends.
